Civilian infrastructure in Velikiye Luki town targeted, regional governor says

Drones have set fire to an oil storage facility in Russia's Pskov region, regional governor Mikhail Vedernikov said on his Max channel.

He attached a video to the post showing the blaze.

Half an hour earlier, Vedernikov reported that drones had attacked civilian infrastructure in the town of Velikiye Luki in the Pskov region. All emergency services are operating in emergency mode, the governor added. He later clarified that the drones in question had attacked the Velikiye Luki oil facility.

A permanent working group of the Pskov region's Emergency Situations and Fire Safety Commission is deployed to the scene of the incident. The risk of drone attacks remains in the region.
