Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said today that Russia's allegations that Kiev is trying to acquire nuclear weapons are an attempt to put pressure on Ukraine during the ongoing peace talks, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
Ukraine does not have nuclear weapons, he stressed at a press conference.
Zelensky added that Ukraine was recommended to repair the "Druzhba" oil pipeline, but "this is not happening so quickly".
Russian oil supplies to Hungary and Slovakia have been interrupted since January 27, when, according to Kiev, a Russian strike hit the oil pipeline facilities in western Ukraine. Slovakia and Hungary blame Ukraine for the prolonged disruption of supplies, Reuters notes.
