Explosions rocked several cities in Ukraine, local TV channel “Obshchestvennoe“ reported.

“Explosions rumble in Kiev“, reads a post on the TV channel's Telegram channel at 4:54 a.m. this morning.

At 4:50 a.m., the channel reported three such cases in Kharkiv, and at 1:41 a.m., two in Poltava.

Ukrainian soldiers from the 425th Regiment “Skelya“ conducted a complex operation to evacuate two wounded from the front line under continuous fire, writes Defence Express, quoted by FOKUS.

The action lasted 6 hours, using a ground drone and aerial surveillance.

The robotic platform successfully moved to the position where the two wounded soldiers were. The entire time, the route was fired upon with bombs, mines and BM-21 “Grad“ missiles. The headquarters of the 425th Regiment used drones for aerial surveillance to be able to indicate to the robotic platform where to pass safely.

On the way to the wounded soldiers, the machine also encountered a mine, due to which it lost 3 of its eight wheels. However, the damage was not critical and the ground robot reached its target. The wounded were loaded onto the platform and it pulled them to safety.

This operation demonstrates the importance of unmanned systems on the battlefield not only for delivering strikes, but also for providing invaluable logistics, while preserving the lives and health of personnel, notes Defence Express.
