The people of Ukraine will not agree to any territorial concessions to Russia, said Kirill Budanov in an interview with the Al-Modon publication, quoted by FOCUS.
He stressed that the territorial issue remains key in the peace talks. Kiev's position on the integrity of the state remains firm, Budanov is categorical.
"Territories are the main issue. Everything else is secondary. I am sure that the Ukrainian people will reject all proposals regarding our lands. "All occupied territories will inevitably be liberated in time," Budanov said.
According to him, it is naive to believe that Moscow, if it gets some regions without a fight, will refuse to expand its influence.
Members of the partisan movement ATESH managed to destroy an important Russian communications tower near Sevastopol, Ukrinform reports, quoted by FOCUS.
The tower had electronic warfare antennas that prevented Ukrainian drones from reaching their targets.
The partisans managed to set fire to the equipment cabinets at the base of the tower, which contained power electronics and antenna cables. The restoration of damaged equipment takes a long time and is quite expensive, and this will allow Ukrainian drones to fly unhindered in this area, ATES notes.
This way they can reach warehouses and command posts of the Russian Black Sea Fleet, Ukrinform also writes.
Over 90 drones of the Ukrainian armed forces were shot down over Russian territory on the night of February 27, the press service of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry reported.
“On the previous night, from 23:00 Moscow time on February 26 to 7:00 Moscow time on February 27, air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed 95 Ukrainian fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles“, the ministry reported.
The air targets were neutralized over the Black and Azov Seas, as well as in 11 Russian regions. These included the Oryol, Kursk, Tula, Bryansk, Smolensk, Belgorod, Tver, Voronezh and Kaluga regions, the Krasnodar Territory and the capital.
According to the Ministry of Defense, five of the downed drones were heading towards Moscow.
