US President Donald Trump has ordered all US federal agencies to immediately stop using Anthropic's products. In a statement on his social network Truth Social, Trump stated that “The United States will never allow a radical left-wing and discriminatory company to determine how our great armed forces fight and win wars“, wrote “Focus”.

The scandal grew after Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei flatly refused to obey the ultimatum given by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to give the company full access to the artificial intelligence Claude. Anthropic believes that it is unacceptable for artificial intelligence to be used for mass surveillance and weapons control.
In his statement, Trump gave the company six months to cooperate in withdrawing its products from the military. Anthropic had a contract worth $200 million, and Claude is integrated into the secret system of the US military.
