Israeli TV Channel 12, citing unnamed Israeli sources, reports that there are “growing signs“ that Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been killed, writes Times of Israel.
The publication notes that there is no official confirmation of the report of Khamenei's death, writes "Focus".
A few minutes before the report of Khamenei's probable death, Channel 12 stated that according to Israel's assessment, the ayatollah "was "least injured“ and this assessment is also based on satellite images.
They showed that the presidential complex of the regime's spiritual leader in Tehran was destroyed. This is according to information from unnamed sources.
It was previously reported that a speech by Khamenei was expected soon. The TV channel said that if this is the case, the speech was recorded in advance.
Channel 12 also said that today's strikes had caused "very significant damage" to the leadership of the Iranian regime and its military commanders.
