US President Donald Trump told CNBC that military operations in Iran are "ahead of schedule".
In an interview with another American television station - "Fox News", Trump said that 48 Iranian leaders have been killed since the beginning of yesterday's strikes, BTA reports.
"No one can believe the success we are achieving - 48 leaders have been removed in one fell swoop. And things are moving fast," Trump said.
Earlier today, the US Central Command (CENTCOM), which is responsible for the Middle East, reported that three American soldiers had been killed and five seriously wounded so far.
