The US administration has ordered increased security measures near the Capitol due to possible terrorist attacks against the backdrop of the military operation against Iran.

„Fox reported that due to fears of terrorist acts after the strikes against Iran, „enhanced security measures“ will be introduced at the Capitol from tonight and tomorrow“, he wrote in X.
He noted that authorities have no information about a direct threat to the Capitol. In addition, there are no plans to build an additional fence around the Congress building to establish a new security perimeter.
