At least 555 people have died so far in US-Israeli airstrikes against Iran, the Iranian Red Crescent Society said today, quoted by the Associated Press, BTA reported.

The society added that 131 cities have been hit in the war so far.

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed on Saturday - the first day of joint US-Israeli airstrikes against the Islamic Republic.

The Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Ali Larijani today rejected the possibility of negotiations with the US, world agencies reported.

“We will not negotiate with the United States“, wrote he in Ex. “Trump has thrown the region into chaos with his illusory dreams and now fears new losses among American forces.“

Larijani, who was also an advisor to former Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, wrote this in response to media reports that Iran was trying to resume talks with the United States.

Khamenei and other members of the country's military and political leadership were killed on Saturday in joint US-Israeli strikes.
