Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at a press conference that no government should expect sanctions against the US over the situation around Iran.
“As far as I can tell, no one will impose unilateral sanctions against the US“, he noted.
There is still no evidence that Tehran is developing nuclear weapons, the Russian foreign minister said after talks with Erivan Yusof, the second foreign minister of Brunei Darussalam.
“We still see no evidence that Iran is developing nuclear weapons, which was the main, if not the only, justification for the war“, he added.
