Russia and the US have been holding a dialogue at various levels on specific issues, but now it's time to hold a fundamental discussion about Washington's vision and role in relation to nuclear powers in this world. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said this at a press conference.
“We are holding a dialogue with our American colleagues at various levels, in various formats, on specific crises, on specific areas of our relations“, the minister noted.
“But I have no doubt that it is now imperative to hold a fundamental, comprehensive discussion about how the US sees the world, how it sees itself in this world and what role it assigns to everyone else. This is especially relevant for nuclear powers for obvious reasons“, Lavrov stressed.
