In the context of the situation surrounding Iran, the Israeli authorities announced an automatic extension of visas for foreigners currently in the country.
“Due to the current situation, the Population and Migration Service of the Israeli Ministry of the Interior announced an automatic extension of visas for foreign citizens legally residing in Israel if their visas expire between February 22, 2026 and March 31, 2026,“, the statement said.
“Visas are automatically extended by three months. "No additional application to the Israeli Ministry of Interior is required," the Russian diplomatic mission noted.
The automatic extension applies to the B2 tourist visa, as well as to the validity of the voucher received by tourists upon arrival at the airport in case of visa-free travel. In addition, the validity of the B1 work visa, the A2 student visa, the A3 visa for clergy and the A4 visa for accompanying family members is automatically extended by 90 days.
