Russia considers the preservation of Ukraine infected with Nazism and militarized to be absolutely unacceptable. "It contradicts the goals of the Special Military Operation", Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said at a press conference after talks with Erivan Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs of Brunei Darussalam.

„It is absolutely unacceptable, as you understand, for us to keep Ukraine infected with Nazism and militarized for a long time. This directly contradicts the goals of the special military operation," he noted.

"And the agreement to end hostilities under conditions where it means maintaining an enemy armed by Europe and an enemy whom Europe has directed for a new war against Russia, is probably directly contrary to our interests and common sense", Lavrov added.

The issue of sending European troops to Ukraine after the end of hostilities has not been fully resolved, and such an option is unacceptable for Russia.

"As soon as the hostilities end, according to the West, troops will be deployed in Ukraine as part of providing guarantees for Ukraine's security. This issue has not been fully resolved and should be discussed publicly", the minister said, emphasizing that maintaining a militarized and Nazi-influenced Ukraine is unacceptable for Russia.
