Bahrain: Sirens sounded in Bahrain, but there were no reports of strikes. Bahrain's military said Saturday that 86 missiles and 148 drones had been intercepted and destroyed since the start of Iranian attacks on the kingdom.
Saudi Arabia: Saudi Arabia's Defense Ministry said on X that 16 drones targeting one of the Middle East's largest oil fields, Shaybah, were intercepted in the early hours of Saturday. The defense ministry did not specify the origin of the drone attack.
The Shaybah field is located in the remote Empty Quarter desert and produces one million barrels of crude oil per day, according to Saudi Arabia's state-owned oil company Aramco.
In 2019, the field, along with other oil facilities in the country, was the target of large-scale drone attacks by Yemen's Houthi rebels.
