The son of slain Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Mojtaba Khamenei, was injured in one of today's airstrikes, according to Al Hadath TV channel.

According to the TV channel, Mojtaba was most likely injured in one of today's attacks, but is alive. There is no information on the severity of his injuries.

Mojtaba is currently considered the most likely candidate for the post of supreme leader of Iran.

Iranian forces launched new air strikes on US bases in Iraq and Bahrain, despite the Iranian president's promise earlier in the day that attacks from the Persian Gulf would cease, Protothema reports.

According to eyewitnesses, there were a series of loud explosions in Bahrain.

The official Iranian news agency Fars claims that there were ''massive explosions at the US base ''Juffair'' in Bahrain in response to a US attack on infrastructure on the Iranian island of Qeshm.

The National Security Council in the United Arab Emirates published in X that ''Air defense systems are currently responding to a missile threat'', advising people to ''remain in a safe place''.

Iranian media also reported an attack on the US-led air base ''Harir'' in Erbil, Iraq.

The defense ministries of the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait also reported intensive air defense operations, repelling a new stream of drones and missiles coming from Iran.

In three days of Operation ''Epic Fury', the US completely destroyed the Iranian fleet, sinking 42 ships from Tehran.

This was stated today by US President Donald Trump during the ''Shield of America summit, Sky News reports.

''It was incredible - in three days we destroyed 42 warships, some of them very large. Their fleet is finished. We took out their air force, we took out their communications,' he said.

According to Trump, in three days of the operation a significant part of Iran's naval and air potential was eliminated. He added that as a result of the attacks in Iran, telecommunications also completely disappeared.

'That was the end of the fleet, we took out their air force, we knocked out their communications... I don't know how they communicate, but I think they'll figure something out. Things are not going very well for them,' the US president stressed.
