The war in the Middle East has entered its second week. In response to Israeli and US strikes on targets in Iran, which began on February 28, Iran responded with strikes not only on Israel, but also on surrounding Middle Eastern countries, on whose territory there are US military bases and personnel. Lebanon, where Iran's proxies from "Hezbollah" operate, has also been involved in the conflict, Reuters recalls and presents a report on casualties in the conflict so far. The agency specifies that it has not verified the data it has with independent sources, BTA reported.

Iran – At least 1,230 people have been killed, including 175 schoolgirls and staff at a primary school in the Iranian city of Minab, which was hit by a missile strike on the first day of the war, according to the Iranian Red Crescent. It is not clear whether the death toll in Minab includes the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps soldiers who were killed near the school. Iran's military says at least 104 people died when a US submarine sank an Iranian warship off the coast of Sri Lanka last week. Those deaths are not included in the Red Crescent's toll.

Israel - The Israeli military said two soldiers were killed in southern Lebanon. The deaths were its first military casualties since the conflict with the Hezbollah group resumed after it attacked Israel in support of Iran. Eleven civilians were killed, including nine people, in an Iranian missile attack on the Israeli town of Beit Shemesh, near Jerusalem, on March 1, according to Israel's national emergency service, "Magen David Adom".

United States – Seven service members have been killed during military operations against Iran, the US military said.

Lebanon – At least 394 people have been killed in strikes carried out by Israel, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry. Among the dead were 83 children.

Saudi Arabia – Two people were killed when a shell fell on a residential area in Al Kharj, southeast of the capital Riyadh.

Bahrain – One person died in a fire that broke out in the "Salman" industrial zone after a missile interception on March 2, according to the country's interior ministry.

Kuwait - A child was killed in an Iranian attack, according to the health ministry. Two interior ministry employees and two soldiers were also killed in the line of duty, according to Kuwait's armed forces.

Oman - One person was killed after a shell hit the Marshall Islands-flagged oil tanker M.K. De Voom off the coast of the capital, Muscat.

United Arab Emirates - Four people were killed, according to the country's defense ministry.

Iraq - At least 15 people were killed, according to Iraqi police and health officials. A commander of the "Islamic Resistance" in Iraq - an alliance of Iranian-backed armed groups - was killed in an airstrike on his vehicle on March 5, police sources said.
