The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps says it will not allow oil exports from the region to the United States or countries cooperating with Washington during the ongoing conflict, its spokesman, General Ali Mohammad Naini, said.
“Given the current US aggression against Iran, the Islamic Republic's armed forces will not allow the export of a single liter of oil from the region to the enemy and its partners until further notice“, Naini was quoted by the Tasnim news agency as saying.
According to the general, Iran is “ready to protect the region's oil resources and security“.
Naini also said that the Islamic Republic's army is “ready to expand the war“ and that Tehran will determine the end of the the war“.
