Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said in a video message published today on his profile on the social network “Facebook“ that his country cannot be blackmailed or threatened by the Ukrainian authorities, the national news agency MTI reported, quoted by BTA.

According to Orban, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky “yesterday again advocated an oil blockade“. The Ukrainian authorities "are not allowing Hungarian government experts to approach the Druzhba pipeline," the prime minister said, adding that this reluctance "is tantamount to a confession and they are continuing to blackmail Hungary."

"Zelensky is deliberately endangering Hungary's energy security because he wants to help bring a pro-Ukrainian government to power," the prime minister said.

"Hungarians are a peace-loving people. We do not seek conflict with anyone, but we will always defend ourselves. In a situation like this, we must defend Hungary. Let's show President Zelensky that Hungary cannot be blackmailed and that it is not worth threatening the country," Orbán said.
