Serbia will not join NATO, said the country's President Aleksandar Vucic, quoted by TASS.
He stressed that Belgrade maintains ties with the Alliance, but the country wants to maintain its neutral status.
Vucic indicated that Serbian armed forces are scheduled to participate in joint exercises with NATO countries in May.
The Serbian president noted that Belgrade will not forget the alliance's aggression against Yugoslavia in 1999.
