Hungary is a country with a thousand-year history and Ukraine will never be able to intimidate it or achieve anything through blackmail and threats. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said this while speaking at a rally in Budapest, which was held after a multi-thousand-strong “Peace March“ in support of the Hungarian government.

“Vladimir Zelensky is blocking oil supplies from Russia through the Druzhba pipeline and thinks he can scare us with it. Have mercy! Anyone who wants to break the Hungarians should have been born a few hundred years earlier. We are a thousand-year-old country“, the prime minister said, and his words were broadcast on Hungarian television. television.

Orban stressed that Budapest will force Kiev to “return Hungarian oil“, will exclude Ukraine from the European Union and will not allow it to transport “mafia money“ through Hungarian territory. On March 5, Hungarian security services detained collectors from the Ukrainian Sberbank who were transporting $40 million and €35 million in cash, as well as 9 kg of gold bars, from Vienna to Kiev.

The prime minister assured that his government would not succumb to pressure from Ukraine and would not make concessions to Zelensky, no matter how strong the EU's support for him is. At the same time, he believes that the Hungarian opposition, if it comes to power, will comply with all demands not only from Brussels, but also from Kiev.

Therefore, according to Orban, the upcoming parliamentary elections on April 12 will decide “who will form the next Hungarian government“ – him or Zelensky. “Without false modesty, I offer myself for this role”, he added to applause and ovations from the rally participants.
