Israel said on Monday it had detailed military plans for three more weeks of war after Israeli forces struck targets in Iran overnight and Iranian air strikes temporarily closed Dubai airport and hit a key oil facility in the United Arab Emirates, Reuters reported, BTA reported.

The US-Israeli war against Iran is entering its third week with no clear end in sight. In addition, the key Strait of Hormuz, through which 20% of the world's oil and liquefied natural gas passes, is blocked, raising oil prices and raising fears of a new global inflation spike.

During a briefing today, Israeli Defense Forces spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Shoshani told reporters that there are detailed operational plans for war with Iran for the next three weeks, as well as additional plans for the more distant future.

The military has determined that the goal of the operation is limited - to weaken Iran's ability to threaten Israel through strikes on ballistic missile infrastructure, nuclear facilities and security services. "We want to make sure that this regime is as weakened as possible and that we have destroyed all its capabilities, all its parts and all its branches of the security system," Shoshani said.

The military, which has mobilized more than 110,000 reservists, said it still had thousands of targets to strike in Iran.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said today that Tehran had not requested a ceasefire and had not exchanged messages with the United States, according to the semi-official Iranian news agency “Student News Network“.
