The Russian Defense Ministry said that Ukraine attacked Russia with 283 drones that night, Agence France-Presse reported, BTA reported.
It notes that this is one of the nights with the most drones launched by Ukraine against Russia. According to the Russian news agency RIA Novosti, the drones were intercepted.
About 90 of the drones were aimed at the Rostov region bordering Ukraine, its governor Yuri Slyusar said. The governor of the Saratov region reported two injuries after a drone attack that damaged several houses.

Russian forces are slowly and gradually advancing on Slavyansk from the north and east, and some formations are about 20 km from the city, Reuters notes.
Slavyansk is one of several cities in eastern Donetsk region that are still under Ukrainian control. These cities form the main line of defense in the eastern Donbas region and are known as the "fortress belt". Ukraine still controls about a quarter of Donetsk region and says the "fortress belt" has provided defensive capabilities for years.
