Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that maritime traffic is not passing through the Strait of Hormuz because insurance companies fear a war provoked by the US, not because of Iran's actions, writes the AP.
"Freedom of navigation cannot exist without freedom of trade. Respect both - or expect neither," Araghchi wrote in X.
He added that further threats will not affect either Iranians or insurers.
