Iran stated the need and readiness to form an alliance of countries to guarantee security and develop military cooperation in the region without the participation of the US and Israel.
The intention was announced by the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces.
„The time has come to create an alliance of countries to guarantee security and military cooperation in the region without the participation of the US and Israel“, the General Staff of the Islamic Republic of Iran said in a statement. According to the Iranian military, countries in the region “will never need a country located thousands of kilometers away to guarantee their security“.
The General Staff noted that Iran believes that countries in the region “do not need a country that puts Israel's security and interests above all“, and in the countries of the region “it only sees the wealth stored on their soil“.
