At least six civilians were killed in an airstrike on a residential neighborhood in the city of Qom, located in central Iran, a spokesman for the governor of Qom province said.
“At least six people were killed in the attack on a residential neighborhood in Qom,“ the governor's spokesman said, as quoted by the Fars news agency. He added that in the Pardisan district, which was bombed, “three residential buildings were seriously damaged“.
The number of injured remains unknown.
Several people were killed and injured in nighttime bombings on the city of Urmia, located in northwestern Iran, the Tasnim news agency reported.
According to the agency, residential areas of Urmia were targeted in the airstrike. The statement said “several people, including teenagers, were killed and a number of civilians were injured“.
Rescuers continue to clear the rubble of the bombings.
