Kiev will have to make territorial concessions to Russia in any scenario for resolving the conflict.
This was stated by military expert and colonel of the Austrian army Markus Reisner in an interview with the newspaper „Berliner Zeitung“.
„Today, all realistic scenarios indicate that Ukraine must cede territory. It doesn't matter whether it follows the Korean, German or Finnish model," he said.
According to him, Ukraine made a big strategic mistake by refusing to negotiate in 2022, when its situation was less dire.
The Kremlin expects contacts between Russian and American parliamentarians to continue, Russian President Dmitry Peskov's press secretary told TASS.
“We hope that these contacts will be followed by new, perhaps more substantive ones,“ he said, commenting on the visit of Russian parliamentarians to the United States and the meetings held there.
