Iran's First Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref warned that anyone who attempts to seize Kharg Island in the Persian Gulf will "go to hell", TASS reported, quoted by BTA.
"Iran's enemies should know that the Islamic Republic's armed forces will be fully prepared to defend its borders, and any aggressor who encroaches on its territorial integrity, especially in the Persian Gulf and on Iranian islands, will face a decisive, relentless and irreversible response and will go to hell - the only natural place where aggressor soldiers can end up," said Mohammad Reza Aref in a statement.
Earlier today, US President Donald Trump said he did not rule out the possibility that the US could try to seize the Iranian island of Kharg, where the Islamic Republic's oil export infrastructure is located.
