Russian warplanes carry out 70-90 strikes on Ukraine every day, using between 200 and 300 guided bombs, said General Oleksandr Syrsky, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in a television interview, Ukriniform reported, BTA reported.

"Every day they carry out 70-90 air strikes and use between 200 and 300 guided bombs," Syrsky said.

He noted that effective means of countering guided bombs have not yet been found and this remains a serious problem.

According to the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Army, the main way to counter them is to destroy of the enemy's air strike capabilities, that is, its aircraft.

"We cannot underestimate our enemy; that would be a huge mistake. The enemy is strong and this is truly one of the strongest armies in the world – you can see its size and equipment," Sirsky noted.
