29 people died in the crash of an An-26 plane in Crimea, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
The preliminary cause of the incident is a technical malfunction. RIA Novosti and TASS reported that the plane crashed into a rock. Six crew members and 23 passengers died.

The An-26 is a multi-purpose transport aircraft developed by the Antonov Design Bureau. The development of the aircraft began in 1964, and its first flight took place in 1969.
The An-26 has a crew of six.
