UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer may resign because of the British revolution, which his decisions will inevitably lead to.

This was stated by Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the Russian President for Investment and Economic Cooperation with Foreign Countries and Head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund.

„Instead of resigning gracefully two months ago, the incompetent Starmer may do so as a result of a British revolution, which he makes inevitable with his constant bad decisions. "Remember this post," he wrote on X in English.

He was commenting on a Bloomberg article that reported that the prime minister was trying to reassure Britons worried about the cost, as the fallout from a war with Iran "threatens the UK economy and his government's agenda."

Dmitriev pointed to a January poll about Starmer's resignation. At the time, 96% of users agreed that he should leave, while 4% voted against. "X users were just trying to help Keir go with dignity," he noted, attaching the January poll.
