Popular Turkish actor Ramazan Tetik, best known for his role in the series “Eşref Rüya“, has died at the age of 37 after a short stay in the hospital, the “Türkiye Today“ website reports, citing messages from the actor's relatives and colleagues, BTA reported.
According to media reports, a few days ago, the actor suffered a ruptured aorta, after which he was taken to the hospital, where he underwent a 13-hour operation. After that, he spent several days in intensive care, where he died yesterday. A day earlier, his relatives had appealed for blood donations.
The Turkish Actors' Union said it was pained by the loss of its young colleague and offered its condolences to his family and loved ones.
In expressing its condolences, actress Çiğdem Tunç described Tetik as "one of the most well-mannered, most loving and most talented young actors" she had ever known.
