Zakharova: The West is in an information vacuum

The reason is the ban on journalists asking questions

The West has put itself in an information vacuum by not answering questions from journalists from the Russian Federation and prohibiting its own from asking questions to the Russian side. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova at the All-Russian Media Forum "Yunkor" at the National Center "Russia".

The diplomat noted that at his weekly briefings he answers questions from all journalists, regardless of which country they are from. “I answer all questions, I don't say: “Where are you from? Are you from Great Britain? Are you from the United States? Are you from Japan? No, we won't answer your questions. On the contrary, I say: “By the way, why don't Japanese journalists ask questions about Japan?“ And they are forbidden to ask questions,“ she said.

"That is, Western regimes have forbidden their journalists to ask us questions, and they themselves do not answer questions from Russian journalists. That is, they are in an information vacuum," the representative of the Russian diplomatic service added.
