Cluster munition explodes near Israeli Defense Ministry headquarters in central Tel Aviv

Damage caused, but no casualties, military says

A cluster munition exploded near the Israeli Defense Ministry headquarters in central Tel Aviv during an Iranian missile attack, the army radio station „Galei Tzahal“ reported.

„This morning a cluster munition hit a parking lot near the „Kirya“ complex - the headquarters of the Defense Ministry - in Tel Aviv. Damage caused, but no casualties“, the statement said.

The newspaper „Maariv“ claims no damage to “military property“.

Earlier, the Yemeni Houthis said they had attacked targets in Tel Aviv. The “Ansar Allah“ movement struck military targets in the city. The operation was carried out with ballistic missiles.
