Ukrainian drones struck the Russian refinery "NORSI" in the central Nizhny Novgorod region last night. This was announced by the commander of the Ukrainian drone forces, Robert Brovdy, quoted by Reuters, reports BTA.
According to him, other drones also hit the port of Primorsk on the Baltic Sea, which is used by the Russian state company "Transneft" for the export of oil and petroleum products.
Earlier, the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Gleb Nikitin reported on “Telegram“ that a fire broke out at the “NORSI“ refinery near Nizhny Novgorod after a drone attack. He specified that a power plant and several residential buildings were damaged during the incident.
According to preliminary information, there are no reports of injuries.
The “NORSI“ complex is owned by the Russian oil company “Lukoil“ and is located about 430 km east of Moscow.
