US President Donald Trump said that the US is “starting to clear“ the Strait of Hormuz to ensure freedom of navigation.
The US President called this “a service to countries around the world, including China, Japan, South Korea, France, Germany and many others“. The US President wrote in Truth Social that these countries “do not have the courage or the will to do this job themselves“. He did not specify what specific steps the US side intends to take.
