According to the media outlet, the United States will be represented at the talks in the American capital by State Department Counselor Mike Needham and US Ambassador to Lebanon Michelle Issa. Israel and Lebanon will be represented at the ambassadorial level. The talks are expected to take place at the State Department in Washington. Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he had ordered the start of direct talks with Lebanon to disarm the Shiite movement Hezbollah and resolve the conflict "as soon as possible." Meanwhile, air raid sirens were sounded in northwestern Israel overnight due to a drone attack from Lebanon, The Times of Israel reported.
