Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico supports Ukraine's plans to join the European Union, but believes it is currently completely unprepared.
A video of the prime minister's speech was posted on Facebook.
“Ukraine is completely unprepared to join the EU“, Fico said. He noted that the country must meet all requirements for EU candidate countries.
The prime minister reaffirmed his support for a quick ceasefire in Ukraine. He believes a peace treaty should be concluded on terms that Ukraine has agreed to.
