Iran guarantees safe passage for ships through the Strait of Hormuz under a new legal and security regime. This was stated by the Iranian Ambassador to Moscow, Kazem Jalali, to the Russian edition Vedomosti, quoted by Reuters, reports BTA.
Jalali pointed out that the attacks by the US and Israel against Iran have failed to achieve their goal of regime change in Tehran. According to him, instead of weakening, the Islamic Republic has become more united.
„Iran ensures safe passage. Based on the security measures and the legal regime in the Strait of Hormuz, ships and vessels can pass“, the diplomat said.
