The history of Russia is full of examples when the unity of the people ensured great victories and achievements, and only thanks to unity will the Russian Federation achieve the goals of the special military operation. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the ceremony of presenting the III All-Russian Municipal Award “Service“, TASS reports, quoted by Focus.
He recalls that 2026 has been declared the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, and called on us to “preserve and strengthen this unique heritage“.
"Given the important role of local communities in this area, a new nomination has been added to the award – "The unity of the peoples of Russia – the strength of the country“. We have many examples when it was the unity of the people that ensured the great victories and achievements of the Fatherland. And today we understand that the most important thing is to be together, that only thanks to our unity will we achieve the goals of the special military operation, and thanks to the solidarity and personal responsibility of everyone in their place, we will realize the strategic priorities of the country, the priorities for the development of our state in a long-term historical perspective“, Putin emphasizes.
