US President Donald Trump was urgently evacuated from the White House Correspondents' Association dinner after a strange noise in the hall.
The event was abruptly interrupted and everyone was asked to leave after some applause.
Secret Service agents with weapons came out on the stage where Trump was standing. The president was evacuated.
Later, the Secret Service announced that they had “stopped” a gunman.
The White House press service said that the president's security had warned of shots.
