Iranian army spokesman Mohammad Akraminia warned that starting today, vessels of countries that comply with US sanctions imposed on Iran will have difficulty passing through the Strait of Hormuz, the semi-official Iranian news agency Tasnim reported, quoted by Reuters, writes BTA.
Iranian lawmakers said they are drafting a bill that will formalize Iranian control of the Strait of Hormuz, including clauses that prohibit the passage of ships of “enemy countries”.
