Russia launched massive airstrikes on civilian targets in Ukraine immediately after the three-day ceasefire agreed by the US expired.

Russian authorities also reported a resumption of Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian territory.

Moscow has launched a large-scale attack with dozens of strike drones in several areas.

Drone debris fell on the roof of a 20-story apartment building in the Obolon district of the capital Kiev, causing a fire. Several private houses and a kindergarten were damaged in the area.

Dnipro was subjected to shelling, which caused fires. There are reports of at least one civilian injured.

Airborne warning sirens have been activated in the Chernihiv, Sumy, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions due to the large number of drone groups detected.

After the end of the period of relative calm around Victory Day, attacks from the Ukrainian side have also resumed.

A drone threat has been declared in several Russian regions, leading to the temporary closure of airports.

The Russian Defense Ministry claims that Ukrainian armed forces have violated the ceasefire thousands of times in recent days, including with attempted attacks on civilian objects.
