US President Donald Trump will undergo his annual medical examination, including dental examinations, on May 26, Reuters reported, citing a White House statement from last night, BTA reports.

The head of state, who will celebrate his 80th birthday on June 14, will do so at the "Walter Reed" National Military Medical Center.

At his age, his health is in the spotlight. Since taking office for his second term as president in January last year, he has maintained a busy schedule, Reuters reported, adding that Trump also has frequent golf weekends at his estates in Florida and Virginia.

The president said he "underwent an MRI scan during his October visit to "Walter Reed" to rule out "cardiovascular" problems, and noted that the procedure "showed no abnormalities". He later said he regretted making the MRI results public because they led to speculation about his health.

Most recently, photos "showing bruising and discoloration" on his hands, raised additional questions.

The White House said Trump would also use the visit to meet with service members and staff at the military medical center.
