China has reiterated its opposition to any US arms sales to Taiwan after US President Donald Trump said he would raise the issue during his meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing, Agence France-Presse reported, quoted by BTA.
"China consistently and unequivocally opposes US arms sales to the Chinese region of Taiwan," Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Guo Jiakun said at a press conference.
