The aircraft was flying from the Czech Republic, but its signal was lost from air traffic control radars around 4:00 p.m. local time on Friday.

After a large-scale search operation conducted by the Croatian Mountain Rescue Service, the wreckage of the aircraft was located around 10:00 p.m. in the mountain range on the territory of the “Paklenica“ national park. The crash site is located about 60 kilometers northeast of the coastal city of Zadar.

Rescue teams arriving at the scene found the bodies of two people. The nationalities of the victims have not yet been officially announced by the police.

Early this morning, law enforcement and aviation experts began a scene inspection and a full investigation to determine the exact causes of the incident - whether it was a technical malfunction or pilot error.
