Ukrainian drones killed at least six civilians in Russia overnight in a wave of strikes, hitting a warehouse of online trading company "Ozon" and an industrial plant in the Samara region, Reuters reported, citing Russian authorities, BTA reports.

In a post on the Telegram app, Samara Region Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev said several people were injured in the strikes. He did not name the industrial facility hit, but earlier today the Ukrainian military said it had attacked the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery.

"Ozon", Russia's second-largest online retailer, said on the Telegram messaging app that operations at its regional logistics center in the city of Chapaevsk had been suspended after the strike, with injuries.

This strike is the first on an Ozon warehouse after weeks of Ukrainian drones targeting logistics centers of Russia's largest online retailer, "Wildberries," Reuters notes. According to Kiev, this infrastructure serves the needs of the Russian army on the front lines in Ukraine.

Meanwhile, the governor of the southern Krasnodar region, Veniamin Kondratiev, announced that two children were killed and two adults were injured in a Ukrainian strike on the Azov Sea port city of Yeysk. A fire broke out in a warehouse at the port.

The government of Belgorod region, which borders Ukraine, reported two deaths and 13 injuries. In Bryansk region, also on the border, four people were injured since last night, local authorities announced.

In Ukraine's Luhansk region, which is almost entirely occupied by Russia, the Moscow-appointed governor Leonid Pesechnyk also reported two deaths, one of them a 16-year-old boy. Nine were injured.

The Russian Defense Ministry said its air defenses shot down 457 Ukrainian drones overnight.

Russian air defense forces destroyed five Ukrainian drones heading towards Moscow this morning, TASS reported, citing a post by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin on his channel on the "Max" app.

"The Defense Ministry's air defense forces shot down five unmanned aerial vehicles flying towards Moscow. Emergency services specialists are working at the sites where debris from the drones fell," he wrote.
