An attempted attack by the Afghan Taliban in the “Gulistan“ region along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border has been foiled, Reuters reported, citing Pakistani security sources, BTA reports.
According to the sources, several Taliban members were killed in the clash.
Sporadic gunfights between Pakistani security forces and Afghan Taliban continue in the area. Border units remain on high alert amid tensions along the border.
