Nine civilians were killed in a series of Pakistani strikes in Afghanistan overnight, the Taliban government of Afghanistan said today, quoted by Agence France-Presse.
The strikes in Helmand and Kunar provinces, which border Pakistan, wounded nine people and destroyed three houses, a spokesman for the Afghan Taliban said.
Pakistan confirmed today that it had launched airstrikes in Afghanistan, where Islamabad says terrorist attacks are being coordinated.
