Vladimir Putin's regime is desperate to find a Ukrainian trace in the Crocus City Hall attack to escalate the war. This was stated by the Russian sociologist Igor Eidman in an interview with telegraf.com.ua.

Nearly 140 people were killed in the concert hall during the terrorist attack. Eidman pointed out that it was not the Ukrainian trail that appeared after the attack, but the propaganda surrounding the creation of the myth of the “Ukrainian trail”.

The Kremlin does not provide any evidence of Ukraine's involvement in the bloody attack, but no one cares about such “trifles” because the propaganda machine is already running at full speed. “This terrorist attack is the result of a provocation by the Russian special services, which have long cooperated with the “Islamic State” . There are evidentiary materials on this topic“, pointed out the Russian sociologist and publicist.

In the words of Igor Eidman, the Russian special services create cells of the jihadist organization, and then arrest these same terrorists. This also allows for a larger FSB budget for “fighting terrorism”. And it is with these cells that Moscow can provoke a real terrorist attack, like the one in “Crocus City Hall”.

Putin's regime needs such a provocation to escalate the war in Ukraine. Immediately after the elections, the Russian authorities began to talk about a significant increase in the number of military personnel in the Russian Federation. They started talking that there is already a war, and not some kind of “special operation”.

„People are already tired of all this. And it was necessary to create such an occasion in order to bring Russian society to chauvinistic hysteria again, as at the beginning of the war,”, stated Igor Eidman. Therefore, such a terrorist attack could be organized by the Russian authorities precisely for this purpose.

It was after such a provocation that the war against the Chechens was unleashed. At the same time, Eidman pointed out that the Russian public will believe the lies about the Ukrainian involvement in the attack. “A significant percentage of people (and most likely this is the majority of the population) continue to trust television and the authorities”, said the expert.

The Russian authorities have the following plan: two weeks of anti-Ukrainian hysteria will be incited, after which there will be a press conference at which they will allegedly say with “evidence” that the Ukrainian special services somehow trained, armed or incited the terrorists. And then some political and military decisions by Putin will follow. Because Putin is clearly preparing an escalation of the war and precisely in this context a terrorist provocation was necessary.

Meanwhile, even on Russian television, Putin's propagandists are now openly admitting that Russia has helped the “Islamic State”:
