The Kazakhs are next, the decision (to attack) has already been made. This was stated by the deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and Lieutenant General Andrey Gurulyov.

The VChK-OGPU Telegram channel released a recording with the words of the Russian military man openly threatening Kazakhstan with an invasion after the full-scale war in Ukraine started by Vladimir Putin in 2022. Russian sources spread unconfirmed information that it was from the territory of Kazakhstan that they were fired drones that struck Tatarstan.

It is not the first time such threats have been heard from Moscow – including to Kazakhstan, which for many years was in the Kremlin's sphere of influence and continues to have close relations with Putin.

A reaction from Kiev followed – the Ukrainians point out that the authenticity of the tape cannot be confirmed, but Gurulyov has made extremely aggressive statements about other countries before. After they became public, the Russian military denied the authenticity of the recordings and said it was a forgery intended to tarnish his name.
